That's him entering in--right in the middle of the door--to Kids' Choir Christmas Party
Stunning news hit me as I came out of my Sunday School class this past Sunday. I was told that one of the kids that I had in SS several years back had passed away on Friday night at the age of 15. He had suffered a massive heart attack. He and his family had moved to another state a few years ago and word had come back to our church family here. My heart is broken, but the Lord knows best and I know that He has a master plan. The Lord can use this child's death to His glory and to the glory of all of Heaven. Twelve people went forward for salvation at his funeral!! Our loss is Heaven's gain. It was my privilege to teach him in Sunday School and to have him in Kids' Choir, where I was the Pastor's wife's helper. What a blessing to help this youngster, as well as the other kids, practice the Kids' Choir programs that they presented once a month to our congregation. He was such a little ham, and actually could do a great job with his parts when he wasn't "hamming it up" for the others!! The Word of God tells us in Psalms 116: 15 that "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints." The Lord wanted to see this child's precious face and called him home to Heaven. Sweetheart, the next time we meet will be at the feet of the Wonderful Savior. What a blessing you always were to me and it was a privilege to have you in SS and in Kids' Choir. I love you. Until We Meet Again...
I'm in my mid-fifties(starting on the other side of mid, as of now.) I am a Mother and an adoring Gan-Gan. My daughter and granddaughter are the apples of my eye. My interests are far and wide. I love teaching Sunday School to little kids at my church--it is so rewarding. Family is everything, both kin and church family. What fellowship is to be had with both!! I am a girlie-girl who loves everything "PINK". My daughter tells me that I live in the "Original Barbie House" because of ALL the pink. And oh, did I mention my love of ROSES? Everything has got to have a rose motif on it. I love people and am concerned for their souls. My mission is to tell others about the Saving Grace of My Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ through the shedding of HIS precious blood for all those that will believe. God loves HUMAN BEINGS!!! My own "Life Verse" is Romans 8:28- "For all things work together for the good of them that love God, to them who are the called according to HIS purpose." I want to be used according to His Precious, Perfect will for my life. My desire is to share my life's journey with YOU. What a pleasure it's going to be.

Life is Full of Wonder
Life is a wonderful journey, filled with all sorts of ups and downs and in betweens. There's always that very interesting person to meet right around the corner, or maybe it's a "just can't remember where I put the thing" kind of day. My blog is just that, life's little stories, no matter how quaint or unconsequential they be, you'll hear about it here. We can laugh, cry, or just muse about the day's events together. Yes, life is full of wonderful little happenings. I, for one, am interested in them and in YOU, my dear reader. Hence, this blog is born. Let us start our journey together, shall we?
